Scuba Diving

The 1000 Islands boasts the world’s best Fresh Water Diving. Due to an influx of Zebra Mussels, the visibility for divers now is up to 70 feet and has caused a sensation throughout the dive industry. Thanks to the fresh cold water of the St. Lawrence River there are over 200 shipwrecks preserved that date back to the War of 1812, leaving us exciting time capsules to explore.
