Below are a few selected comments . . .

“For a brand new golf course it was awesome.  It definitely has the feeling of a Muskoka Golf Course but at a fraction of the cost.  I look forward to playing this course for years to come.”  .........................Anonymous, Score Golf website, course rater

“Beautiful course & excellent layout. Loved playing this course and I'm going again in October. Very scenic views, challenging holes and good greens. Well worth the coin to play this course, a real treat.”

Amazing course! Well maintained and I loved the elevated tees!! Can't wait to play it again!!”

“Scenic, cut right out of the Canadian Shield. Many raised tee boxes, challenging, somewhat expensive, modest club house, and good midsummer twilight rate with food coupon. I'll play this one again.”

“Played this course on our way back from watching the Presidents cup in Montreal. All pumped up after watching the pros on a top course, Smuggler's did not disappoint. The layout was one of the best I've played, and I've been on 5 of the top 50 in Canada this summer including Rocky Crest, and Osprey Valley. This course was right up there. I suspect it won't be too many years until it cracks the top 50 in this country. Condition needs to come up a little but we did play after heavy rains the day before and the greens and fairways had been aerorated in the past few weeks. We were able to tee off as the second group of the day behind steady players so we didn't have any traffic to contend with. When we left it was getting quite busy, and I could see this course being frustrating to play if jammed with people staying at the resort, minus the game to tackle this course. If playing from the tips, you better bring your A game. Very unforgiving. One great course if condition improves a little and the owner's keep high handicaps from ruining the flow of play which can happen easily a course like this.”
