Position to be filled: Equipment Manager

Smuggler’s Glen is a resort course located in Gananoque, 20 minutes from both Brockville and Kingston. 

Job Responsibilities

• Small and large engine repairs of gasoline, diesel and electrical equipment
• Hydraulic system trouble shooting
• Preventative maintenance programs
• Record keeping of repairs and maintenance
• Reel sharpening, HOC adjustments
• Equipment includes a fleet of 75 golf carts
• Perform other duties as directed by the Superintendent

Qualifications

• An interest to learn, problem solve and work as a team
• Excellent people management and communication skills
• Experience in the golf industry an asset but not required
• Computer skills
• Engine repair experience
• Willing to invest and train the right individual

Compensation : This is a 10 month position from February 15th to December 15th. Salary will be based on qualifications of the successful candidate.

Start date: Negotiable – Preferably in the month of June
